International Recording Star, Actor and Author Jean-Paul Vignon creates an effervescent evening of show-stopping entertainment with a captivating blend of swinging favorites from The Great American and French Songbooks.

Legendary Actress, Singer & Dancer Mitzi Gaynor calls him “SENSATIONAL!” Actress Michele Lee says “Jean-Paul is AMAZING!” Songwriter Mike Stoller (of Lieber & Stoller) proclaims “AN INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE. No one does better than J.P.”

Jean-Paul Vignon first stepped on a U.S. stage in New York at the famed Blue Angel nightclub in 1963. He introduced Americans to the “French Twist” and soon Columbia Records signed him to an exclusive contract where his recordings of “Don’t Cry Little Girl” and “Misty” became turntable favorites.

For several decades, his critically acclaimed live performances were on display in the top showrooms and nightclubs across the country from Le Maisonette in New York to the Drake Hotel in Chicago, from the Eden Roc in Miami Beach (with Frank Sinatra ringside) to the Riviera in Las Vegas.

He continued his acting career, which began in France in the late 1950s, alongside William Holden in the WWII epic The Devil’s Brigade (1968) and even guest starred in popular episodes of The Patty Duke Show, Dallas, Gilmore Girls and Star Trek: The Next Generation. He also starred in his own musical series in Canada called The Sensuous Man produced by Dick Clark. In recent years, Vignon has become a highly sought after voice-artist appearing in the blockbuster animated film Shrek (2001), portraying the French narrator in 500 Days of Summer (2009) and dubbing the voices of many U.S. films into French for International release.

Jean-Paul’s passion is music and he still revels in performing Great American Songbook standards and romantic love songs (sung in English and French) from Frank Loesser, Michel Legrand, Johnny Mercer, Charles Trenet, Edith Piaf, Maurice Chevalier, Frank Sinatra and more.
